This traditional waxed cotton sash has improved strength and reduced stretch provided by the polypropylene film core. This is our classic cotton sash and is the benchmark in waxed sash cord that remains unequalled. The wax finish provides the weatherproofing and durability that this 16 plait construction is famous for. Waxing also provides efficient running on the pulleys for smooth window operation. All sizes are stocked in reels of 100m or in packs of 10 hanks, 10m long.

Solid Braided Polished/Solid Braided Spot Polished
This long established sash cord construction of solid braided is favoured due to its smooth polished surface and round cross section. Made from first quality long fibre cotton that is braided then finshed in our polishing plant. It is our premium cord over pulleys and exhitbits a superb abrasion resistance. We offer this in a plain natural colour and also with a red identification marker
All sizes are stocked in 100m reels and in packs of 8 hanks, 12.5m long.

8 Plait/8 Plait No Core/8 Plait Polished
This construction is well established in sash cord manufacturing and produces a robust and durable cord.
It is made with and without a core and can also be supplied as "self Colour " or Polished as for traditional Sash Window industry.
Cotton being a natural product offers great appeal to customers and has been very long established.

16 Plait
The 16 plait finish provides a smooth even surface for better running over pulleys and corners.
This is supplied with a core and allows greater strength and durability.
Looking similar to Solid Braided sash cords it has a niche in the market.
Black
Natural Cotton is fast dyed BLACK to enable braided cords to be made ideally suited to the Theatre industry where matt black cords find many uses "behind the scenes" where they are required not to be seen.
