Exciting new opportunity for a dynamic Sales Development Executive to join a long-standing organisation with an excellent reputation!

Ibex Marina Ropes Ltd is a privately owned manufacturer of ropes, cords, and braids, servicing a wide range of markets including Military, Aerospace, Outdoor leisure and Marine safety. They are financially stable, with an excellent culture and opportunities for career progression. We have recently moved into a brand new production facility at Pilsworth, close to Junction 3 of the M66 and easily connected to the Manchester orbital motorway

The role of the Sales Development Executive is primarily working within the Sales department to identify and approach sales opportunities with prospects but will also include customer retention. High levels of service and support are key to this position, building relationships with customers, prospects and internally with the production team to support fulfillment of orders and query handling. Involvement with Marketing activities will form part of the role.

This is an internal sales position so travel is rarely required or will be supported by others in the team.

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Development Executive:

Researching and pitching to sales prospects

Managing quotations daily

Scheduling prospecting campaigns in conjunction with marketing support

Regular liaising with customers regarding product, order, and shipment queries

Ensuring CRM records are updated and all administration is managed

Maintaining and building confident customer relationships

Skills & Experience Required:

A highly organised energetic person

Proactively manage own work responsibilities

Commercially astute

Microsoft proficient

Proactive, positive attitude

Flexible and hands on approach, a can-do mentality

Initiative and the confidence to start things from scratch

Previous Sales Administration experience would be an advantage

Previous experience within a manufacturing environment an advantage but not essential
