Kevlar Braid 8 Plait
Our Kevlar Braid 8 Plait is a specialist cord developed for use in high-load and high-temperature environments. Kevlar fibres are known for their exceptional tensile strength, resistance to heat, and protection against cutting or abrasion. This makes the cord ideal for aerospace, defence, pyrotechnics, motorsport and other performance-critical fields.
It maintains structural integrity under extreme stress, and it is non-melting up to 500°C. The 8-plait construction also ensures uniform flexibility and strength distribution throughout the cord, enabling smooth handling and consistent load performance.
We provide this cord in a natural colour, on 100 and 1000 metre reels as standard. We can also provide custom spooling and additional technical options – feel free to discuss with our team.
