Nylon Braid 8-Plait
Our Nylon Braid 8-Plait is a versatile and hard-wearing cord that is ideal for applications that need some degree of controlled elasticity. The slight stretch offered by nylon makes this braid particularly well-suited for uses that involve variable tension or dynamic load – from restraint systems and utility bundling, all the way up to specialist rigging.
It remains flexible even in cold or damp conditions, and it is distinguished by its superior shock absorption compared to polyester or polypropylene. Its smooth surface finish and strong abrasion resistance also make it an excellent choice for repeated handling or use through pulleys and cleats.
